Trusona utilizes an integration with several authoritative sources to perform validation checks against the data on a user's mobile device

In some cases, you'll notice that when completing the Trusonafication process, the MNO column in the workspace will be empty, or the MNO button will by greyed out. There can be several reasons for this:

Note that all of below assume that you do have the phone number of the user. If you do not have the phone number, the MNO button will be active and clickable.

1. The SMS message was attempting to be send to a Landline

- The Trusonafication process requires a mobile device. All relatively recent mobile devices and browsers are supported.

2. The device is utilizing a VoIP service

- A VoIP service does not utilize a standard phone carrier and thus cannot be verified with a third party authoritative source.

3. The phone carrier being utilized does not perform KYC checks

- Some non-standard carriers simply piggyback or utilize virtual carriers. In this case, there will not exist an ability to verify the data with a third-party authoritative source

4. Trusona cannot reach MNO validation services to initiate data validation.
