In some cases, a user that clicks on a Trusonaficiation link with their mobile device will end up on a page with a QR code waiting to be scanned, if this is the case, the device is requesting the desktop version of the site. Requesting the mobile versions of the site will allow the user to proceed with their verification process.


Android:


Chrome:

Change the default settings on your phone or tablet

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. On the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Under “Advanced,” select Site settings and then Desktop site.
  4. Turn on Desktop site.

To customize your non-default settings for specific sites:

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. On the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Under “Advanced,” select Site settings and then Desktop site and then + ADD SITE EXCEPTION.
  4. Enter the site’s URL.

Tip: You can also add a site to the exception list when you select More More and then Desktop site.

Firefox:

  1. Open the menu: Tap the three-dot menu button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to settings: Select Settings.
  3. Tap site settings: Select Site settings.
  4. Toggle desktop view: Find the option for Request desktop view and turn it off to view mobile versions of sites, or on to view the desktop version.
    • You can also manage this setting per-site by tapping the menu button while on the specific site and then toggling the "Desktop site" switch.


iOS:

Change the default settings on your iPhone or iPad

  1. On your iPhone or iPad , open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More Moreand then Settings.
  3. Tap Content settings and then Default site view.
  4. Select Mobile or Desktop.
  5. Tap Done.


Firefox:

  1. Open the menu: Tap the Page Actions menu icon (it looks like three dots in a horizontal line).
  2. Request mobile site: Select Request Mobile Site to view the mobile version of the website.
  3. Switch back: To return to the desktop version, you'll tap the menu again and select the Request Desktop Site option to toggle it back.


Safari:

To request a mobile site in Safari on an iPhone, tap the two A's (aA) icon in the left of the address bar, then select Request Mobile Website from the menu. If you don't see that option, you may be in a context where the site doesn't offer a mobile version, or you need to clear the website data to force Safari to request the correct version by going to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, finding the site, and tapping to delete it.
